Network Computing 2005 Well-Connected Award

For the second consecutive year, the Barracuda Spam Firewall has ranked #1 in the "Spam Solution" category in the annual Network Computing "Well-Connected" award competition. Senior Technology Editor for Network Computing, Curtis Franklin, praised the Barracuda Spam Firewall writing, "the Barracuda Spam Firewall comes close to being the ideal enterprise-class spam filter--an effective product that requires no management and costs absolutely nothing."

Network Magazine 2005 Innovation Award

The Barracuda Spam Firewall was awarded the Network Magazine 2005 Innovation Award for "Security Product Breakthrough." In Network Magazine's May 2005 issue, which features all Innovation Award winners, Technology Editor Andrew Conry-Murray touts the Barracuda Spam Firewall as a product that "speaks a language that appeals to security and business types by combining an effective solution for spam and viruses in a low-cost appliance."

Service Provider Weekly Editor's Choice Award

The Barracuda Spam Firewall 400 was named "Editor's Choice" by Service Provider Weekly.
